My mother and what I think about it

Well, not always. My mom always trys to keep me from growing up sometimes but as I'm getting older she is starting to give me a little more freedom. I guess when I actually think about it, every decision my mom made was to help me make good choices in my life...and it made a great effect on who I am today, even if I didnt agree with her choices along the way (haha).

Parents just want to protect you from "bad" things and from making the same mistakes as them. They want you to be the best person you can be and nudge you in the direction they believe is right. I agree with you, sometimes they are over protecting but in the end it has help you more than you know. They try their best but are still learning just as much as you.
