it dependes on the person

i think it does to a certain point. like in sports it shows you the real world because if you suck you wont make it till you try to get better. If your a starter it would mean that you were good if you are a bench player you not that good your the back up plan. i think that the more people get in to there study the less problems they get which would be great for people that just wanna just do there thing. high school can prepare you for the real world in big schools were theres a lot of diversity you know what im sayin dawg.

i agree if you are good at sports than you wont be a benchwarmer you will get to play

sports may teach you responsibility and work ethic but i dont know if i would go as far as saying prepare you for the real world. there is so much more in the real world that sports can not teach you, it takes learning from mistakes and other peoples mistakes
