To be popped or not to be popped

My parents are old so they were raised with the corprate punishment system and looking at how they are now they beneifited from the punishment because if they got popped at school and their parents found out if they cared my parents got popped again for giving the teacher trouble. I do agree that there would be retaliation from the community at first but after a year or two of having the system back in the schools we would see improvement amongst the student body
